I love wild places. I mean out there, away, in the woods, or some other kind of place where

chance andmystery hold sway. Out there, my mantra is to 'expect the unexpected',

which attunes me to my surroundings with all senses. My paintings are an

extension of the spirit and passion I feel for these places. Through them I

hope to evoke in others their own sense of awe and connection with the wild

world. As a result stories get shared between us and we realize how

important it is to preserve what we have, that it is our mission to restore

what's recoverable and live as sensible stewards of the only paradise we've

ever actually known.
